Green Workforce Hubs

Clean careers, built by hand.

We help you find your way into Colorado's clean energy trades, with real guidance and a clear plan. No matter where you're starting from, we'll meet you there.

The Green Workforce consists of skilled professionals that help build a cleaner, more sustainable future. They include work in energy-efficient construction, renewable energy, landscaping, HVAC with heat pumps, and more. These careers blend traditional trade skills with climate-focused innovation.

Green trades are jobs in the skilled trades that directly support clean energy, energy efficiency, and environmental resilience. These careers offer good pay, long-term stability, and the opportunity to make a difference every day.

Power Ahead Colorado is working to train and equip the next generation of green workers across the region.

Meet Your Navigator

A real person whose whole job is helping you find your way into the trades. Your Navigator will sit down with you (in-person or virtual), get to know what you want, build a plan with you, connect you with the right training providers, and stay in your corner for a full year — starting from your very first meeting.

Green Workforce Hubs

The Green Workforce Hubs, launching in 2026, will connect jobseekers across the Denver metro region to high-quality careers in building decarbonization and clean energy trades. Through a regional network of workforce hubs, participants will receive career navigation, training support, employment connections, and wraparound services to succeed in in-demand fields such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy efficiency. The program is designed to expand equitable access to good-paying green jobs while advancing a more energy-efficient and sustainable future for Colorado.

Find the Hub Closest to You

Each hub is staffed by its own Green Career Navigator and run by a local workforce center. Four of our five centers are in federally designated low-income communities. See the list below for more information.
